AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL OF THE SUPPORTERS OF OUR SCHOLARSHIP
I personally want to thank our founders, our board of directors, and each of you former wrestlers, students, ALHS graduating classes, organizations, family and friends, You have all had a part in making our scholarship a huge success. A special thank you to our web-master Larry Johsnon, class of 1961, who from day one has maintained our website for us,  We appreciate the good work that you do.

As of November 1, 2008 a total of $105,647.00 has been donated to the scholarship fund. Keep in mind that any donations to our fund are never spent. This means you are a part of this legacy. Since every dollar donated to the fund is never spent, and only the interest is used to fund the scholarships for ALHS students, the fund will continue for many years to come. You are a part of this legacy.

To date, we have given 34 scholarships with a value of $41,000. Our fund is a tax deductible 501 {C} {3}. Our board of directors had a goal of $100,000. In ten years, we have passed that goal. Now they have a stretch goal of $150,000.

Some of the ways you have donated is by direct donation, by a memorial in lieu of flowers, by organizations, by graduating classes, the fund is the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, and also the heir of a trust by an anonymous donor. Here is an opportunity for some of you who would like to leave a legacy for ALHS students.
